Senator Fadahunsi accuses Gov Adeleke of harbouring killers in Osun

The Senator representing Osun East, Francis Fadahunsi has alleged that the Governor of the State, Ademola Adeleke harbours some of the killers in the state and vowed that the governor would be voted out in the August 15 governorship election.

Fadahunsi who made the allegation during media chat with journalists in his office at the National AssemblyAbuja also accused Governor Adeleke of promoting illegal mining in the state through collection of N300 per miner who according to him, are in multiples of thousands.

He specifically alleged that in different instances , governor Adeleke has been harbouring well known killers in the state either as cultists or thugs .

“Imagine our dancing governor visiting a leader of one of the secret cults, a known criminal in the state who in fact, killed a student in 2018 .

“This is not to talk about another notorious cultists who after disturbing their peace in Esa Oke, ran to Imesi but was later found in government house Osogbo, the official residence of the governor not as an arrested criminal, but a free citizen “, he said .

Senator Fadahunsi also accused Governor Adeleke of using operatives of Amotekun in the state to hunt down perceived enemies, just as he has been frustrating commendable efforts of the Police to arrest the criminals for prosecution.

According to Fadahunsi, Osun State is under invasion of illegal miners who pay N300 per head per day to Governor Adeleke’s government to perpetuate their fleecing of state natural resources.

He however declared that the people of the State are more than ready to vote out the governor from office in the governorship election slated for August 15, 2026.

“Governor Adeleke will definitely meet his waterloo in the election as aside from dancers and spectators he is carrying around in the state, millions of concerned electorate in the state are waiting to kick him out “, he concluded
