Sharifat Jato-Jibril: CIML Leadership Induction Will Strengthen My Efforts to Transform Lives

Mrs. Sharifat Jato-Jibril has described her induction into the Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership (USA), Nigerian Chapter, as a major milestone that will further strengthen her commitment to touching lives and transforming the circumstances of vulnerable members of society.
Jato-Jibril, who spoke shortly after her inauguration into the institute, said the recognition was not only a personal achievement but also an opportunity to expand the humanitarian work she has been undertaking over the years.
According to her, her life has largely been devoted to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable people, particularly widows and children, and the new recognition would provide additional impetus for her to do more.
She said, “Today’s inauguration into the Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership, USA, Nigerian Chapter, has been a milestone for me. It is very important to everyone who participated here today.
“Before now, my life has basically been about touching lives and changing a lot of stories for the vulnerable, for widows and children. This recognition will help me to do more.
“The fact that I am being recognised is a plus for me. It will enhance what I am already doing.”
Jato-Jibril expressed appreciation for the honour, stressing that the induction would further motivate her to remain committed to initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people who need support and giving vulnerable members of society a greater sense of hope.
She noted that leadership should go beyond titles and recognition, stressing the importance of using opportunities and positions to create meaningful impact in society.
