As Nigeria celebrates its 65th Independence anniversary, a group of politicians under the aegis of Renewed Hope Grassroot Movement has said come 2027, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will emerge victorious because of the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration.
Speaking at the inaugural lecture at Merit House in Abuja Tuesday, leader of the group, Ambassador Solomon David Eke advised opposition political parties to rally behind President Tinubu to continue to deliver dividends of the democracy to Nigerians.
The theme of the inaugural lecture ‘Continuity in governance and government policies; PANACEA to sustainable development in Nigeria”, emphasised the importance continuity in government in the overall interest of Nigeria.
The Renewed Hope Grassroot Movement, an offshoot of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) said the bold decision taken by President Tinubu in the last two years put him ahead any competitor in the 2027 presidential election.
Ambassador Solomon David Eke, said the inaugural lecture was to sensitise Nigerians for them to know the truth as we are going into 2027 general elections.
According to him, “The truth is that we have visionary leader in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has come with a vision to change Nigeria. He has started by setting a target to wipe out corruption, crime, insecurity and the worst sickness called economic instability.
“If you look round just the few months of this administration, new things have started happening in Nigeria. People were crying about a year ago over insecurity, economic instability; now you can see they are coming down. The Nigerian troops are almost conquering and they will conquer the insecurity. That gives new hope. We’re are saying enough is enough in criminality, corruption. We cannot leave our people to suffer.
Amb. Eke said Tinubu has made a lot of sacrifice to eradicate the vices plaguing the nation, which prompted the inauguration of Renewal Hope Grassroot Movement to take the message of Tinubu’s achievements to all nooks and crannies of Nigeria.
He said all things been equal, “Tinubu must emerge victorious in 2027”.
