The senator representing Edo South senatorial district, Neda Imasuen has said the victory of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Edo State in the just concluded re-run election was as a result of various economic reforms by the President Bola Tiunbu and massive developmental projects across Edo State by Governor Monday Okpebholo.
Speaking to pressmen in his office on Thursday after arriving from Edo State with Senator-elect, Joseph Ikpea, Senator Imasuen congratulated the Senator-elect and the good people of Edo Central for keying into the vision of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to transform Nigeria.
According to him, the just concluded re-run election is a clear indication that there is no other party in Edo State than the PC because running into election no any party is campaigning except APC.
Senator Imasuen challenged any party with good programme than APC to come forward and present to Nigeria, not on the pages of newspapers.
He further commended Governor Monday Okpebholo for taking a bold step to reposition Edo State.
He called on all Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and his economic reform.
Also speaking, Senator-elect from Edo central, Joseph Ikpea dedicated the victory to God and the people of the district “who have chosen vision over sentiment, progress over politics”.
According to him, “I will work hand in hand with our governor, our party, and community leaders to ensure that every part of Edo central feels the impact of quality representation.”
He said, “a senator who replaces performing governor, I will work hard not to disappoint him and the people of Edo central”.
