The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Region 45, New Life Assembly, Kubwa Abuja has rewarded an honest security guard Mr. Kefas Aude working with the Church for returning a brand new Samsung phone to the owner.
Pastor in charge Region 45, Mike Ayanbode was full of praises for the young security man when he announced to the congregation of about 1,000 worshipers that the security man returned the phone to the owner, which was a birthday gift to the lady by her husband.
The Church gave him a letter of commendation and a cheque of undisclosed amount.
The action of the pastor set the stage for members who showered the security man with cheques and cash. Those who were watching the programme online also instantly contacted the pastor that they donations for the trustworthy security man.
PenMaster tried to find out from Mr. Kefas why he behaved the way he did considering the present harsh economic situation in the country.
Kefas’ response was “that is the way I was brought up. I’m not the type of person who will see something and say I will touch it, no. I make sure I struggle for what I will eat. No matter the situation or hardship, I make sure I serve humanity and ensure justice for everybody”.
The excited Kefas expressed gratitude to the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Pastor Mike Ayanbode of Region 45, Abuja snd all the members who encouraged him and asked God to reward them.
