Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu has declared that Nigeria is unstoppable in her bid to win the 2023 African Cup of Nations currently ongoing in Côte d’Ivoire.

Kalu stated this after the Super Eagles of Nigeria demolished the Black Sable Antelopes of Angola by 1-0 last night in the Quarter Finals of the biggest African football fiesta to qualify for Semi Finals.

The Deputy Speaker who was a member of the National Assembly delegation to Cote D’Ivoire led by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio in solidarity with the Super Eagles said that the coast is now clear for Nigeria to reach the finals and lift the trophy.

While congratulating the team, Kalu hailed the indomitable spirit of the players and the entire technical crew, adding “they have spread joy and elicited excitement in Nigerians across all regions and ethnic backgrounds”.

He enjoined the team to “remain focused on winning the trophy”, assuring them of national assembly support.
