The Senate at plenary Wednesday swore in Rev. Amos Yohana as the senator representing Adamawa North.

Rev. Yohana replaces Elisha Abo who was sacked by the Court of Appeal, Abuja recently.

The Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin presided over the plenary.

Former Senator Aboh stirred up controversy when he blamed his sack on the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and revealed that four other senators opposed to Akpabio were marked for sack by the courts. He turned round to deny the allegation when Akpabio aides took him up on the allegation.

Aboh led the campaign of Senator Abubakar Yari for Senate presidency against Akpabio in the race for the top job.
